A Major Hindu Piligrim Temple (Ghati Subramanya )

The Ghati Subramanya temple is second major Pilgrim Center after Kukke Subramanya for Snake Worshipping in Southern India. The Temple has more than 700 years of History Records. In those days, the construction of the temple was assigned to Ghorpade who is from Sandur Dynasty. The History of constructing this beautiful temple belongs is, One Day God Subramanya swami has appeared in the king's Dream and revealed about the Idols (Karthikeyan and Narasimha Swamy). Then the King discovered that Idol of Lord Subramanya and Lord Narasimha(emerged from the Ground) which came in his dream and then started work on building the Temple. The idol of Lord Subramanya is in sinuous formation facing east and Lord Narasimha sat at the back of the former and faces the west. Devotees can pray to the Idol of Lord Subramanya through a Mirror Placed.

Every year in the month of December, a fair is conducted where the Agriculturists, cattle rearers and trades of Cattle from the Surrounding states such as Hyderabad, Telangana, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra and Kerala along with the people of Karnataka will be actively participating in this Fair every year. The Special pooja's like Kuja (Mars) Dosha Pooja, Sarpa/Naga Pratishtapana Pooja, Sarpa Dosha Pooja, and Nivarana Pooja will be Conducted by Priests of the Temple Oftenly.
